7 Engines and 1,400 HP: Ford Has Built the Racing Mustang Mach-E

Ford Performance and RTR, a design studio, have developed a powerful modification of the Mustang Mach-E, which only resembles the production version from a distance.

The model is equipped with seven electric motors, three of which are located in the front and four units — in the back. A total power output of the powertrain is 1,400 hp.

A drivetrain of the sports Mustang Mach-E is customizable, so it can be either all-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. This will allow the electric car to take part in both races and drift competitions. A 56.8-kWh Nickel-magnesium-cobalt battery is also included in the equipment. It is comparable to batteries of Formula One cars.

In addition, the sports electric car boasts an efficient energy recovery system, ABS and stability control, Brembo mechanical brakes, a new battery cooling system and an ability to quickly charge during pit stops.

As for the body, it has also undergone major changes. In particular, the body panels of the Mustang Mach-E are replaced with plastic, and the rear wing is configured so that it provides downforce of 1,043 kg at a speed of 160 km/h. This hardcore SUV will be released in one copy and will take part in the NASCAR. However, the company does not specify which division it is in. The cost of the model is also not disclosed.
