Kinto has been working in Japan for a year and has shown good results.

So, the manufacturer is transferring this positive experience to Europe and in an expanded form.

The world is changing, including the automotive one. Sales of new cars in the world are approaching a peak of 100 million a year. The market can no longer consume more, which means that only a decline is ahead. New formats of cars and their presentations, sales and the approach to mobility itself are forcing automakers to search for new business concepts.

Our new Kinto mobility brand signals that the company is more focused than ever on meeting customer mobility needs

said Matthew Harrison, Executive Vice President, Toyota Motor Europe.

In Japan, Kinto is divided into two branches: Kinto One and Into Select. The first offers the use of one of the Toyota models: Prius, Corolla Sport, Alphard, Vellfire or Crown. The second offers hybrid Lexus models: ES 300h, IS 300h, RC 300h, UX 250h, RX 450h and NX 300h.

Subscription car ownership under the Kinto program is similar to leasing, but its 36-month subscription already includes insurance premiums, vehicle tax, registration fees, and even regular scheduled maintenance. A new owner can only fill up the car. There is an additional feature for Kinto Select users: you can change a selected car model to another one from the same program every six months.

The Kinto brand has already arrived in Europe with four services: already familiar Kinto One, Kinto Share (short-term hybrid car rental), Kinto Join (carpooling), as well as Kinto Flex (leasing by subscription with flexible conditions and a premium level of cars). All the services will be available in the mobile app.
