The Updated Nissan X-Trail’s Design Is Declassified Before the Premiere

The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail (Rogue) was repeatedly caught on camera. The company also showed the model in darkened teaser videos.

However, it was not possible to keep the intrigue until the official debut, as photos of the SUV’s exterior and interior without camouflage vinyl wrap were leaked on the Internet. The quality of the images suggests that they were taken from an official advertising brochure.

The upgraded X-Trail has become larger and more angular. It has received a larger version of the signature V-Motion grille design, the company’s new logo, split headlights and LED daytime running lights. The back part has also undergone changes. It looks sportier due to a new spoiler and modified taillights.

The interior has undergone more serious changes than the car’s body. It features a new flat-bottom steering wheel, a digital dashboard, a modern multimedia system with a large display, and a joypad instead of the traditional gear shift selector.

There is also a button for selecting driving modes. The interior is finished in high-end leather with bright stitching, which is complemented by wood and metal.

There has been no information regarding a powertrain. The car will probably get a 2.5-liter engine with 170 hp like its predecessor, or a similar engine but with 190 hp and 244 Nm, like that of the Altima. The new X-Trail should also get a hybrid version.
