Audi Disconnects the Logo Rings for the First Time in 86 Years: Volkswagen Does Not Stand on the Sidelines

Nowadays, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Worlds Health Organization urges all people to keep a distance of 1 meter.

According to doctors, this measure can significantly reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This is what Volkswagen and Audi decided to call for in their social videos.

Audi has separated its logo rings, which have been connected since 1934. When the rings begin to disperse, they are accompanied by the words «keep distance”, but then they join back together with text underneath that reads “stay together”.

Volkswagen has, in turn, spread the letters „V” and “W» of its logo.

At Volkswagen, we traditionally stand together in all crises and support each other. We are convinced that together we will find new ways and solutions that will enable us to overcome this crisis. Right now it is particularly important that we follow the rules of conduct and hygiene with a lot of discipline. Stay safe — keep social distance!

says the company in its video campaign after the letters were separated.
