Audi Presents the New A6 Avant 55 TFSI e Quattro

Using only the electric charge, the AWD Avant can travel up to 50 km.

The hybrid station wagon has a slightly reduced trunk volume, where the battery is located. But the model with the TFSI e powertrain consumes only 2 liters of fuel per 100 km and has the dry-sump system.

Technically, the new product is identical to the sedan with the same powertrain – the A6 55 TFSI e. The station wagon shows the same dynamics (0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds) and top speed (250 km/h).

The core of the powertrain is a 2-liter 252-hp turbo engine. The additional electric motor is built into the body of the seven-speed automatic transmission. The overall performance of the hybrid is 367 hp and 500 Nm. There are three driving modes: “EV” for all-electric driving, “Hybrid” for the efficient combination of both drive types and “Hold” to conserve the electrical energy available at any given time. It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery from a 7.4 kW device.
