Despite its crazy design and no less crazy technology, the Ramsmobile Protos RMX 2 is not a concept car but a production model. It is planned to produce 12 such cars annually (and the production starts this year), each of them will cost from $1,666,666. What does the Belarusian company offer for such an impressive amount of money?

The Ramsmobile Protos RMX 2 is an off-road vehicle for an apocalypse. The design is similar to the iconic Hummer models and the Lamborghini LM002 SUV of the last century, but it looks much more fantastic. Even the doors are not simple: they open up like that of Lambo supercars.

Inside, the Belarusian SUV is no less impressive. There are seats from the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe, four tablets on the fascia, and a real hookah installed on the center console.

Often such exclusives are built on the architectures of existing production models, and here is another feature of the Ramsmobile Protos RM-X2: it is based on the original platform made of composite materials. At the same time, its chassis has an air suspension that increases a ground clearance to 348 mm, as well as “hidden” tracks with electric drive, which improve the off-road ability of the car.

As for the engine, buyers can choose between three powertrains: a 6.2-liter 999-hp air injection V8 Chevrolet LT5, a 6.6-liter diesel V8 Duramax, and electric motors with a total power output of about 1200 hp. In all cases, the mighty units will be complemented by a radiator grille with customizable LED lighting.

The vehicle with the Chevrolet engine accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Other units provide have about the same level of performance. B6 and B7 Levels of Car Armor are available optionally.
