Boeing Towed by Electric Vehicle

The MINI Cooper SE, which debuted in the summer of 2019, has proved to be very popular.

At the moment, almost 100,000 people have already expressed a desire to purchase the new model.

As of early 2020, MINI has received over 90,000 pre-orders from potential buyers of the new Cooper SE. This is despite the fact that the number was 2 times less in August: then, the automaker received 45,000 orders.

Shortly before the premiere, the company released a video about the Cooper SE, which was supposed to warm up interest in it. It seems to have worked. In the video, MINI shows the capabilities of the new model: the EV takes a 150-ton Boeing 777F in tow and successfully stretches it several tens of meters along the runway. Take a look:

The MINI Cooper SE has been assembled since November. The first customers will receive their cars in March 2020.
