Any user of the service app can call a self-driving taxi from one of the available pick-up and drop-off points to another. Self-driving taxi rides of the new service are free. At the same time, there is certainly a test driver at the wheel of a self-driving vehicle, who, if necessary, must take control.

The Bosch and Daimler AG service uses self-driving cars built on the basis of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans. The taxis are equipped with a variety of sensors, such as lidars, radars, and cameras, and use algorithms running on the NVIDIA Drive Pegasus computers.
