Switzerland Cancels the Geneva International Motor Show 2020 for the First Time since WWII

Today, on February 28, three days before the opening of the Geneva International Motor Show (press days), the Swiss authorities decided to ban any mass events that gather more than 1000 people.

The organizers of the auto show regret this step but state that the health of participants and visitors is their highest priority. Unfortunately, this is a force majeure event. Certainly, the participating companies, which have already prepared their booths and brought new products, also regret this. After all, the Geneva International Motor Show remained in effect just a few days ago.

Now the organizers and participants will have to deal with early dismantling of their exhibitions. What concerns tickets already purchased by the visitors, they will be refunded.
