The flying model will be presented along with two more concepts. The first, which Hyundai calls the «Purpose Built Vehicle», is essentially a flying panel van; the second is “the Hub”, a new mobility space connecting air-based UAM and ground-based PBV.

“The Hub” is a key point to the Hyundai concept. Located in urban areas, “the Hub” will serve as an access point to the quasi-centralized transport network, as well as a “community space”.

The use of airspace is expected to reduce congestion and make city transport convenient again,

Hyundai explains in a press release. So far, this is all the information shared by the South Korean company. All other details will be announced at CES on January 6.
