Interior of New Infiniti QX60 Revealed Before Premiere

The large SUV of the Japanese brand was caught on camera.

The interior of the new Infiniti QX60 is leaked online. The second-generation model will feature a completely redesigned interior with three digital displays, but some design elements will be borrowed from the current Nissan Rogue.

As you can see from the photos, the Infiniti QX60 derives a “floating” central tunnel with a non-fixed transmission pad, a parking brake button and a pair of cup holders from the Nissan Rogue. Also, the SUVs can have very similar controls: for example, the pre-production QX60 had a steering wheel from the Rogue.

In other respects, Infiniti’s designers went the other way: you can note unusual door panels with a triangular armrest, a touch-screen climate control unit with a pair of functional rotary shifters, as well as a large-format infotainment system, which can be controlled by a shifter or hot buttons located on the central tunnel. It is also claimed that the QX60 will have a digital dashboard.

Other details about the new Infiniti QX60 are scant: it is assumed that the large SUV will retain a three-row interior and will mainly be equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol turbo V4 with variable compression ratio and a CVT. The design of the new model can be judged by the QX60 Monograph concept, although the production version will lose sliding door handles and will get a more conventional rear bumper.

The premiere of the new Infiniti QX60 will take place in 2021, and the model will not be available for sale until the second half of 2021. The key markets for the QX60 will remain the US and the Middle East.
