Mazda Revives Its Premium Car Division Forgotten Many Years Ago

Mazda has decided to revive the Eunos brand and release a special version of the MX-5.

At the beginning of the ‘90s, the manufacturer had its own premium brand, which produced cars exclusively for the domestic market. The MX-5 is also a brainchild of this brand called Eunos. The car was much more successful than the company itself and even outlived it. After that, the experiment had to be canceled due to economic impracticability.

Now, Eunos’ roadster will see the light again, but as a limited edition model – the MX-5 Eunos Edition. It will be a tribute to the original sports car. The limited edition will be released by the brand's French division. Circulation will be limited to 110 cars. All cars will be sold in France.

The special roadster will be painted in Jet Black. The interior, on the contrary, will be made in a rich burgundy shade chosen specifically by the manufacturer.

The limited edition roadster will be released in April and will cost €34,600.
