Mercedes-Benz Presents the Upgraded Marco Polo

The new Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo has received a powerful engine and air suspension.

Just in time before the start of the tourist season, Mercedes-Benz has released an updated version of the Marco Polo activity camper. One of the main innovations of the model is the AirMatic suspension. It increases driving comfort both off-road and on perfectly smooth highways. When driving at a speed of more than 100 km/h in the «sport» mode, the suspension lowers by 10 mm to optimize the aerodynamic drag. The car resets settings in the «comfort» mode. When driving on uneven roads at speeds up to 30 km/h, the clearance increases by 35 mm.

This spring, the manufacturer added a 2.0-liter 239-hp four-cylinder diesel engine with, which allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. A top speed is 210 km/h. As for fuel consumption, it is 6.6 liters per 100 km in a mixed cycle.

The new Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo Activity can be in five and seven-seat versions. The caravan is equipped with a pop-up roof, under which there is a large sleeping place. The upgraded model has also received a digital rear-view mirror and a number of safety improvements, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and pedestrian recognition.
