The production of the original 3 Wheeler will end in 2021, when the certificate for the company's 2.0-liter S&S V2 engine expires. Morgan Motor's history began with such tricycles, although the 3 Wheeler was released in 2011. In 2016, it was followed by the EV3. But the company only speaks about a short break in production, after which the retro car will return but in a different guise.

The symbol of change should be the 3 Wheeler P101 (the name of the project to revive the historical model) with an original decor and an asymmetric design. Such tricycles will be distinguished primarily by a golden overlay over the passenger seat made of composite plastic, Aero wheels and Hella spotlights, which are located in such a way as to reduce air turbulence around the suspension components. The 3 Wheeler P101 also has unique exhaust pipes covered with black ceramic coating on the right side and white coating on the left side.

A power output of three-wheeled Morgans depends on the environmental class: 83 hp or 69 hp — Euro 3 and Euro 4, respectively. The V2 engine comes with a 5-speed manual transmission by Mazda. The 3 Wheeler accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 185 km/h.

The tricycle also features unique graphics, tiny windscreens, and visible rivets on the body. The vehicle is painted only in two colors (Satin White Silver or Deep Black), including one of 4 art packages: Belly Tank (inspired by post-war cars used for the works on salt lakes), Dazzleship (a reference to military camouflage), Aviator (based on the design of the RAF’s aircraft operated during the WWII), and Race Car (imitates the design of Morgan Motor’s first racing cars). You can also purchase the Aero Pack in order to remove a safety arch and a passenger’s windscreen.
