We are proud to receive the coveted Red Dot design award in the ‘Product Design’ category for two of our new models. This provides further proof that we are on exactly the right track with our design DNA.

New generation Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 2008: impressive design and electric version

With its striking design, the new-generation Peugeot 208 reflects the company's growth strategy in the automotive market. The jury was particularly impressed by Peugeot’s design: sharp edges, clear and smooth lines, dynamic style. The interior also features a world premiere: the digital 3D dashboard. This innovation is available as a standard option from the Allure equipment line and upwards. The digital 3D dashboard is part of the Peugeot 3D i-Cockpit concept, which also includes a multi-function, sporty steering wheel and a 10-inch touchscreen.

The new generation Peugeot 2008 SUV, in turn, impressed the jury with its vertical LED daytime running lights, which are one of the key elements of the brand's new design style today. The front vertical LEDs lend the car a saber-toothed look, which allocates the Peugeot model among others. The multi-faceted profile of the new SUV features triangular lines and sharp edges. This ensures that the style of the car always remains interesting, dynamic, and vibrant from the front end to the rear. By the way, the rear end of the car also looks very unique: a horizontal gloss-black stripe that integrates the LED taillights in the shape of lion claws. Inside, the new Peugeot 2008 SUV is full of small peculiar details: bright decorative stitching, ambient LED lighting, and high-quality seat upholstery.

It is worth noting that the lineup of the new Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 2008 also includes fully electric variants. Exclusive design elements give a subtle hint of the electric essence of the Peugeot e-208 and Peugeot e-2008, visually setting them apart from the ICE versions: the radiator grille is made in the color of the body, and the ‘Lion’ logo changes its color depending on the angle of view.
