The Bugatti Veyron Owner Tells About the Cost of Owning a Hypercar

American multi-millionaire Manny Khoshbin, who earned a fortune in real estate, told in his YouTube blog about how difficult it is to own a Bugatti Veyron hypercar. Moreover, the businessman has two Veyrons - a Super Sport coupe tuned by Mansory and a Grand Sport Vitesse roadster.

According to him, Bugatti recommends changing all technical fluids once a year, even if the car was not used at all. To do this, you need to get to the 16 drain plugs hidden behind the rear fenders, wheels and brakes. The official price for the service is $25.000.

The company also advises to change the car tires worth $38.000 per set every two years. The tires of the successor model (the 1500-hp Chiron) are not so exclusive; a full set costs only $8000. The Veyron wheels need to be changed once every 10.000 miles — they cost $50.000.

It turns out that, on average, an owner of the Bugatti Veyron needs to spend $88.000 for minimum maintenance expenses every two years if he drives it frequently. This is apart from the cost of gasoline which its 8-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine with a power output of 1200 hp consumes in large quantities.

Manny Khoshbin plans to sell the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport not for saving money but for freeing up space in the garage for his new hypercars. He has already ordered a Mercedes-AMG One, a McLaren Speedtail, a Ford GT, a Porsche 935 and a Koenigsegg Jesko.
