The 2020 Honda CR-V Black Edition

The Honda CR-V is the most popular SUV of the brand.

That is why the Japanese manufacturer regularly subjects the model to modernization. This time, in addition to the future upgrade, the CR-V has received the top-end Black Edition variant.

After the restyling, the design of the SUV has not changed much. In comparison with its predecessor, the CR-V features redesigned headlights with dynamic turn signals and a new heated steering wheel.

As for the Black Edition variant, it looks quite ominous. The body of the model was painted in jet black, which is complemented by smoky headlights and taillights. The SUV has also received 18-inch aluminum black wheels, a black chrome plated radiator grille and fog lights.

The interior is also made in the appropriate style: black high-end leather trim seats, door panels, front fascia and headlining. The Black Edition logo is applied to all key elements.

The Honda CR-V Black Edition is offered with two units: a 1.5-liter 190-hp four-cylinder turbo petrol VTEC engine or a hybrid variant with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. A total power output of the second powertrain is 215 hp.

The Honda CR-V Black Edition with a 1.5-liter engine costs starting from $35,000. The Honda CR-V e: HEV EX Black Edition will cost more than $40,000.
