The coronavirus pandemic has dealt a devastating blow to the world's automotive events, which were scheduled long before it has swept the world. Organizers broke under pressure of circumstances. Consequently, some auto shows were canceled, but still most of them were postponed.

The Beijing Motor Show was the first large-scale automobile event postponed for an indefinite period. However, after the pandemic went down in China, the organizers have announced a new date for the exhibition. In particular The Beijing Motor Show will be held from September 26 to October 5, 2020. It is not yet known whether the world's car manufacturers are ready to visit the exhibition and whether they have any major products to show.

It is worth noting that that the expos in Beijing and Shanghai, which alternate in the calendar of events, have recently expanded and become world-famous. Every year, about 1200 new products from 14 regions of the world are exhibited there. As for visitors, the latest motor show was attended by more than 800,000 people, 10% of whom were from abroad.
