The Fastest Electric Car in the World Is Shown in Dubai

It's been a while since the Japanese company promised to show their new hypercar Aspark Owl. In the past year, they even demonstrated a prototype that could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 2 seconds. Now, they have already presented a production model, which produces whopping 2012 hp and 2000 Nm, in Dubai.

It accelerates form 0-100 km/h even faster – in just 1.7 tenths of a second. The maximum speed is 400 km/h. The hypercar has a drive range of 450 km on a single charge.

Only 50 units will be released at a price of € 2.900.000. The Aspark is likely to be not only the fastest but also the lowest hypercar in the world, as it will be only 99 cm tall.

The Japanese say that the first cars will be delivered to customers at the end of 2020. However, the most interesting is that the Japanese hypercars will be built in Italy in collaboration with Manifattura Automobili Torino.
