The Kia e-Soul Is Released as a Commercial EV

Kia has introduced a new modification of the e-Soul SUV, which received the prefix Cargo in the name and is designed to transport small and medium-sized cargo.

The new vehicle is based on an electric car in the e-Soul Executive Line configuration.

In order to adapt the e-Soul to commercial activities, the company removed the second row of seats, thereby adding a large cargo compartment. The resulting compartment was protected from the passenger side by a metal grating; the floor was reinforced with metal plates and equipped with special fastening rings for fixing the cargo in the amount of six units. Also there is a small compartment for storing the charging cable underbody.

The E-Soul Cargo has a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also features adaptive cruise control, leather seats with heating and ventilation, a premium Harman Kardon audio system and a heated steering wheel.

The model is equipped with an electric motor, producing 204 hp and 395 Nm. A 0-100 km/h time is 7.9 seconds. A 450-km drive range is provided by a 64-kWh battery.

The Kia e-Soul Cargo will be sold exclusively the Netherlands, but it may appear in other markets. in the future. A price tag starts from €39,077.
