A lot of interesting buses, including electric ones, were presented at the 2020 Busworld Turkey held in Istanbul in early March.

Istanbul hosted the 8th Busworld Turkey from March 5 to 7. The international B2B expo for bus and coach was organized by Busworld International and HFK Trade Fairs.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the expo was a success – it was attended by 7935 visitors from 75 countries. 128 participating companies showed their products, including 9 bus manufacturers who brought 35 buses. Special attention was paid to eco-friendly models.

Thus, Anadolu Isuzu presented 4 models: the Novociti Life, the Novo Lux, the electric Novociti Volt, and the Citiport 12 CNG, working on compressed natural gas.

Karsan, another Turkish manufacturer, also demonstrated its all-electric vehicles at the 2020 Busworld Turkey: the Jest Electric and Atak Electric. Within a short time, the company sold 68 Jest Electrics and 18 Atak Electrics to 8 different countries.

Five models were demonstrated at the booth: the Sultan LF, the Sultan Mega, the Sultan Comfort, the Otokar Doruk and the latest development – the electric Kent Electra. The company's strategy is to increase the share of exports, which already reached 80% in 2019.
