We are speaking about the Polestar 3 from Volvo’s subsidiary. This was confirmed by Polestar’s Design Director Max Missoni. He also said that the SUV will be similar to the Precept concept car in exterior and interior design.

The first visualizations of the future electric car have recently appeared. All of them demonstrate a stretched version of the Precept. The only difference is the shape of the roof. The Polestar 3 is expected to be released in 2022. The next-gen Volvo XC90 will also go on sale in the same year.

The two SUVs will share the same platform – the SPA2 (an improved version of the SPA1). The new platform will become standard for all major Volvo and Polestar models in the near future. There was no other additional information about the new electric car. But the new XC90 will come with two motors and a large battery that will provide a drive range of up to 500 km on a single charge.
