2021 Renault Duster: First Official Photos

The low-cost Renault Duster has received an expanded list of standard equipment and a turbo engine.

The first-generation Renault Duster debuted under the Dacia brand in December 2009. As Renault’s model, the SUV was released a little later. The second-generation was introduced in the fall of 2017, but it did not yet reach some markets. The company only updated the first Renault Duster especially for those regions.

Its main acquisition was a 1.3-liter turbo engine with a power output of 156 hp (254 Nm). The new unit joined the previous 1.5-liter naturally aspirated one with 106 hp and 142 Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the new unit comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or an X-Tronic CVT to choose from. A few months ago, a 1.5-liter diesel engine disappeared from the first-generation Renault Duster’s engine range, and an all-wheel drive system also remained in the past.
