So far, the Aston Martin DBX is the only product of the new production center, but other models of the brand will be assembled here in the future. The site is planned to be turned into “an electrification house”, which will specialize in the production of electric vehicles under the luxury sub-brand called Lagonda.

It is worth noting that the Aston Martin DBX is the company’s first SUV. Its official premiere was held at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new model is equipped with a specially modified 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine from AMG with a power output of 550 hp and 700 Nm. The engine comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV needs 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h. A top speed is 291 km/h.

In the future, the top-end modification with a twin-turbocharged V12 from the Aston Martin DB11 is expected to appear. In this case, the car will produce 600-700 hp, and a top speed will exceed 300 km/h. The main rival of the model is the Bentley Bentayga SUV. The V12 model will compete with the Lamborghini Urus.
