Bentley Mulliner Bacalar: Exclusive Design

Bentley has presented its new car - the Bacalar Convertible - designed in collaboration with Mulliner.

The exclusive convertible inherits the style of the Bentley EXP 100 GT concept with the same dynamic silhouette and many memorable details, such as spectacular headlights, huge air intakes, and an interesting flowing rear end, where a luggage compartment is placed just behind the front seats.

Needless to say, the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is hand-made: all the main elements are exclusive and expensive. For example, a fascia is made of particularly rare wood species; seats and interior are trimmed in expensive fabrics and leather from manufacturers with whom Mulliner has been cooperating for many decades. The friendship between Mulliner and Bentley began in 1923, when an exclusive and also two-seat car was prepared for Olympia London.

The Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is equipped with a 6-liter W12 engine, producing 659 hp and 900 Nm. It comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and transmits all the power to massive wheels (a diameter of each wheel is 22 inches) using an all-wheel drive system.

Each of the 12 Bentley Mulliner Bacalars — yes, this is a limited-edition series — was custom-built by its future owner.
