New Nissan Micra Receives Design Version

The 2021 Micra is now available in the N-Design configuration.

Nissan has introduced the 2021 Micra. The new hatchback is slightly different from its predecessor: the upgraded model features only revised configurations and an expanded list of equipment. The main innovation is the appearance of the N-Design version.

The Micra N-Design differs from the standard hatchback in two-tone 16-inch wheels, as well as decorative black or silver elements on mirror cases, bumpers and doors. The interior has two-tone fabric upholstery. The fascia panel and central tunnel are finished in artificial leather. The list of equipment has been updated with the Bose Personal audio system (available for the Tekna configuration).

In 2019, Micra got new engines. The 900 CC turbo engine was replaced by a new 1.0-lietr 100-hp unit. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission or an Xtronic CVT. The engine range also includes a 1.0-liter DIG-T engine (117 hp).

The Micra is based on the same architecture as the fourth-generation Renault Clio. The both models designed for the European market are assembled in France.
