Suzuki Has Unveiled Its New Low-Cost Sedan

Suzuki’s new compact sedan based on the Suzuki Swift will soon be released. We already had a chance to study its specification, equipment and even design.

Such a car, called the Suzuki Dzire, has already been available in India (and produced there) since 2017. Now it is time for a planned facelift. The changes can be called neat. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire sells very well on the domestic market, so it was necessary not to spoil anything in this situation.

The car features a larger fake radiator grille, a new bumper, lavish chrome plated decor, and redesigned headlights. The rear end, along with taillights, has remained the same. In general, the predecessor (in the gallery below) looked a little simpler.

The interior of the 2020 Suzuki Dzire demonstrates refreshed trim materials and an improved multimedia system. Top-end variants will receive climate control, cruise control, start-stop system and rear-view cameras.

Serious changes occurred in Suzuki’s engine range. A four-cylinder petrol engine now develops 90 hp (instead of the previous 83 hp) and meets modern environmental standards. The engine can come with a manual or automatic transmission. In fact, Suzuki’s compact sedan is now available with a single engine, because a 1.3-liter 75-hp diesel engine was abandoned.
