Skoda’s First EV Is Very Popular but There Is a Problem

Skoda’s first mass-produced electric car has entered the market so successfully that the manufacturer now does not even know what to do with it.

The market segment of electric cars is mostly strange and unpredictable. In general, it cannot be said that EVs break sales records but some models still turn out to be really popular. The new Skoda Citigo-e iV even managed to face certain problems in this regard.

The thing is that the manufacturer prepared only 400 electric cars for the British market. Sales began in late January but all the cars were already sold out by mid-March.

At the same time, Skoda has temporarily stopped the car’s production. Therefore, there were no new electric cars in the UK. It will have to wait!

The local representative office has even suspended accepting orders for the Citigo-e iV, although any other model can be purchased without problems. Buyers were attracted by a whole set of great features. Why not, if there is an option to buy an electric car with a 260-km drive range just for £16.955.
