The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392: This SUV Is Ready For Any Tests

Jeep has introduced the Rubicon 392, a concept of the new-generation Wrangler for driving on rough off-road.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is a special version of the new generation SUV, which may well be released. Indirect proof of this is a batch of about 30 prototypes, which, according to one of the representatives from Road & Track, were made at Jeep’s factory in Toledo, Ohio.

A 6.4-liter petrol V8 will help the Rubicon 392 to cope with off-road. The unit's output is 457 hp and 610 Nm. The engine works in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission, a dual-band distributor and a Selec-Track AWD system. The car accelerates from 0- 96 km/h in less than 5 seconds.

The special off-road Wrangler has uncut axles from Dana 44 with self-locking differentials, a reinforced suspension, single-tube shock absorbers from Fox, and 17-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires. The SUV also has upgraded engine supports and frame. Other changes are not excluded, but there is no full information about the prototype yet.
