This Old Ford Is Turned Into a 185,000-Dollar Electric Vehicle

You can endlessly look at three things: how fire burns, how water flows, and how tuners give new life to old iconic cars.

If you like the Ford Bronco, then you are definitely looking forward to the upcoming debut of the new model. However, there is another option: you can buy a classic version of the SUV, which is still stuffed with all modern technology and is fully electric. But there is one thing — you will have to pay $185,000 for it. According to the designers, this Bronco has received more than 1000 new parts and elements.

Zero Labs offers two versions of the car: a standard metal version and a more expensive version with a carbon fibre body. The latter are said to have improved performance and increased power reserve, as the car weighs less than the steel counterpart. The Bronco is built on a specially designed platform that includes independent suspension, and also allows installing two engines at once, which will produce more than 600 hp.

The motor is powered by a 70-kWh battery, on one charge of which the old SUV can travel as much as 305 km. The battery can be recharged using a level 3 DC fast charger, but the charging speed has not yet been determined. The company intends to release up to 40 such cars, but with its high price, the vehicle will remain the lot of collectors.
