GTO Engineering has showed a replica of the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione.

GTO Engineering, specializing in Ferrari models of the 1950s and 1970s, has presented a replica of one of the most iconic sports cars of the Italian brand — the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione. The new model is called the 250 SWB Revival, and it is so close to the original that they can easily be confused. At the same time, the difference in the price reaches $10 million.

Like the classic Berlinetta, the GEO Engineering 250 SWB Revival is built around a tubular space frame covered by a hand-hammered aluminum body. The British used original drawings and personally measured the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione, so the cars are almost indistinguishable from each other. Each two-door is built according to an individual project and the customer can get either a road sports car that meets safety standards, or a device prepared for classic car racing.

The original Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione was equipped with a 3.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 (284 hp). The replica will offer three engines to choose from with a volume of 3.0 to 4.0 liters and two manual transmission options: four-speed and five-speed. The minimum output is the same 284 hp.

The coupe is equipped with brake mechanisms corresponding to the historical period, but if desired, they can be replaced with more efficient aluminum calipers. Wheels can be 15- or 16-inch.

The interior is finished in genuine leather, and the ceiling is upholstered with original perforated material, like cars from the 1960s. For an additional fee, there are seat belts with a beam attachment, air conditioning, satellite navigation and USB ports. Each car takes 12 to 18 months to build, and GEO Engineering says it has already sold 30 copies.

Each is worth more than a million dollars, provided that the real Berlinetta costs $13-14 million.
