An Old Land Rover Is Equipped with the Corvette’s Engine

The Land Rover Defender has long been titled an icon in its segment. However, USA-based E.C.D. Automotive Design, which specializes in upgrading various versions of the Defender, has decided to make the model multinational.

The company has installed the Corvette’s 6.2-liter LS3 V8 (565 hp) in the Defender 110’s engine compartment. They have also integrated their own air suspension and 18-inch wheels shod in the BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires.

The modified Defender Rowdy also features Recaro sports seats and a steering wheel from Evander. The interior, including the door cards and dashboard, is finished in high-end beige leather. A wine testing set was placed in the cargo compartment, thus adding a piece of France to the car. However, this set may be suitable for a regular tea party, since it includes cups and a thermos bottle in addition to glasses.
