The studio's portfolio includes the Mercedes-Benz X-Class Yachting Edition and the similar Mercedes-AMG G 63, but soon they will be joined by the Land Rover Defender made in the style of a luxury yacht.

Carlex’s Defender can be identified by a silver-painted and hand-polished body, new wheels shod in 235/40 R18 tires (although visually they look larger, the G-Class Yatching Edition has wheels of this design but 22 inches in size), black decorative elements and hood, as well as a spare wheel cover with the wind rose graphics. However, design is secondary. The main thing is the interior, which will be completely resewn and finished with wood.

Customers can choose between two design options: a combination of white leather with wooden inserts or brown leather with a polished aluminum decor. In both cases, the ceiling and pillars will be covered with Alcantara.

The luggage compartment and back of the rear seat will be covered with wooden slats, like the deck of a luxury yacht. According to the renderings, the Defender will also be fitted with new seats and a steering wheel with a partially wooden rim.

The technical filling will probably depend on the donor car. The «second» Land Rover Defender is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo V6 (300 hp and 400 Nm), a six-cylinder petrol engine with electric boost and a 48-volt onboard network (400 hp and 550 Nm), and two diesel units with 200 hp and 240 hp. Later, a hybrid P400e (404 hp and 640 Nm) and an upgraded V8 version will be released later.
