Bertone Mantide

Initially, the concept car was presented to the public as a promising model with the working title ‘Project M’. Designer Jason Castriota was closely involved in the development of the sports car. He is now known in the car industry as Ford's global chief of advanced design.

The Mantide is equipped with a 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine, which produces 647 hp, and a six-speed manual transmission. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 351 km/h. The air drag coefficient is a quarter lower compared to the original Corvette ZR1. In turn, the downforce increased by 35%. Such rates were achieved due to the body design made of carbon fiber.
