Al Capone's Car Costs 1 Million Dollars

Al Capone's 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan has been placed at auction.

The car is made in such a way that it was difficultly distinguished from the police cars of that time. In particular, the Cadillac is painted in the same color as the police cars. In addition, the car has a police siren, police lights and even a radio hidden in the glove compartment. So, the mafia designed such a car that even the police thought it was one of theirs.

However, this Cadillac is really unique because it is considered one of the world's first armored cars. In particular, it has armored panels and glass. All car windows are bulletproof with a thickness of 1 inch (2.54 centimeters). The side and rear windows can be rolled up so that there is a two-inch gap at the bottom, through which you can put a gun barrel. All doors are additionally reinforced with steel sheets.

This 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan was lucky enough when law enforcement agencies seized all Al Capone's cars but they missed this one. As a result, the historical model has been kept in garages or in various American museums.

Therefore, the mileage is only 1787 kilometers and the 90-year-old Cadillac looks like a new one. The car owners want to sell it for at least a million dollars.
